The Fear-Tension Cycle

One of the key concepts taught in hypnobirthing is the fear-tension cycle.

When we feel afraid, our bodies naturally become tense. Tension can make labour feel more difficult and uncomfortable, which can then create even more fear.

Hypnobirthing helps break this cycle by providing practical tools that encourage relaxation, understanding and confidence.

The goal isn't to eliminate every fear or guarantee a particular type of birth. Instead, it's about helping you feel prepared and supported, whatever path your birth takes.
